.

I am very pleased to announce that Dorianne Laux & Joseph Millar will be our judges for next winter, Jan-Feb-Mar 2010.
Here are their Wikipedia pages: Dorianne's and Joe's.
Oh right . . . they're married. Here are four poems, selected because of how they fit together and give voice to a working class life:
The Shipfitter's Wife by Dorianne Laux (one of her poems in Best American Poetry)
Many of you know Dorianne from the book The Poet's Companion: A Guide to the Pleasures of Writing Poetry, which she co-authored with Kim Addonizio. I've had that book for a decade, have read it thoroughly, have referred back to it, and recommend it.
There is a whole bunch out there on Joe and Dorianne. Here are their Google searches: "'Dorianne Laux' poet" and "'Joseph Millar' poet". Be careful searching for Joseph's poetry. There is another poet Joe Millar out there.
Many thanks to Joe & Dorianne.
Yours,
Rus
