I thought it might be interesting to keep a post of links and user reviews of free image editing software for those maybe just getting into this for the first time or those of us who aren't fortunate enough to own some of the more costly image editing/creation programs.
I've also included the first link for image organising and will be adding to this too if I find others of value.
So, I'll start with this and add as I find more - feel free to add your thoughts and links too, the more the merrier.

Gimp & Gimp Shop
There's now a GimpShop available. It's only an 8mb download too because the guy who hacked the gimp to make it took all the extraneous (sp?) files out.

It's photoshop like unlike the gimp 2.2 which isn't but is also *excellent* in my nsho and can be found here:
