how I became so beautiful
it took many millennia
of ancestors arbitrary
and pointless
pursuit of desire
for the ancient debauchery
of each others bodies
and the bliss of entering
and exiting like breath
as if each moment
held something fragile
as a life which keeps
expanding
and expounding
on the vagaries
of itself which
as we all know
by now is its own
inevitable softness
pushing through
the green singer
who stands
transfixed
between the blue
angel
and the black
light
burning
